A continuation of my old essay…of which I am very proud of. Why? This was the essay that showed me that I should start on writing my own stories. And I’m glad that I got a good grade for it too(:
At last, they arrived at the Furthest World, a realm where ice and snow freezes your heart.
“Those who think that Gobby wants to freeze the Iris Star, say ‘aye’.” Blaze joked with worry in his eyes.
“Aye.” Celestial responded.
They landed on the slippery ground and trotted around, looking for a flame that stands out in the snow. In the distance they saw a flicker of hope and rushed towards it. They did not expect to take it and leave, of course.
The Goblin stood in their way with an evil look in his eyes. He began jumping up and down, chanting “Pretty star mine, pretty star mine.”
“Right. Stop dancing and give us the Star and you won’t get hurt.” Blaze said, then yelped when a troll bigger than him stood between him and the star.
Gobby smiled and chanted “No. Kill them, kill them!”, prancing around the Star. With a mighty leap, Celestial pushed off the ground when the troll brought his fist down. Blaze charged at the troll but was hurtled back when it swung its arm at him. They fought on and on until they noticed the Iris Star began to fade into nothing.
Celestial and Blaze looked into each others eyes. They were fighting a losing battle but they were not giving up. They swiftly dodged the troll and crashed into each other, just as Celestial’s wings touched Blaze and his horn touched her. A flash of brilliant light wrapped around them. It blinded the troll and the Goblin and in their place stood a grey horse with a silver horn and gold wings.
Let me know about what you think of the essay so far. The last part of the essay will come out soon.
